Board of Directors

Welcome to the Delta Amateur Radio Club website!

The Delta Club holds monthly meetings, offers formal training classes for all three Amateur radio licenses (Technician, General, and Extra) and informal training sessions on all aspects of amateur radio, supports public service events, provides five VHF/UHF repeaters, hosts a nightly information net on 146.82 with a 107.2 hz tone, publishes a monthly newsletter, Sparks; participates in Field Day each year, and, perhaps most importantly, fosters the amazing camaraderie of the ham radio community. The Delta Club also holds the distinction of an ARRL Special Services Club.

We welcome all hams and non-hams to our club meetings. The club meetings are held on the second Tuesday evening of the month. See Meeting Information for meeting time and location.

Delta Amateur Radio Club
VE Testing

We offer ARRL VE testing before each meeting, except December, at the Ellendale Church of Christ, on the second floor of the Sunday school building at 7365 US Hwy 70 (Summer Ave.) with registration beginning at 5:30 p.m. and testing beginning by 6:00 p.m. You must bring two types of identification with you to the VE testing session and one MUST be a governmental type photo ID. You also MUST bring originals and a copy of any license and/or CSCE that you may hold. The Delta Club meets every SECOND Tuesday of each month.

Note: ARRL VE Testing Fees for 2018 are $15.00

Other testing may be available as a part of Delta Club's ongoing training class schedule.  Check out the training page for more information on upcoming classes.

To assist in your quest for an amateur radio license here are a couple of links offered by the ARRL from the VE section of their homepage.  This link will help to make sure that you're studying the most current question pools and when you're ready to take your exam(s), this link will help you locate a testing session location close to you, anywhere in the United States.

Other special testing sessions not listed above (like for a class) will be posted here as soon as the information is available.  As with all ARRL VE testing sessions, class testing sessions are open to all potential testing candidates.
